How do I add payment recipients to my account in batch?

Save time when adding multiple payment recipients to your Centtrip account. Our batch upload feature enables you to add hundreds of recipients in just one click, removing the need to create and verify each one individually.

After signing into your account, visit the Recipients tab and click 'UPLOAD RECIPIENTS'.
Scroll down and click either 'EXCEL TEMPLATE' or 'CSV TEMPLATE' to download the 'RecipientUploadTemplate’.
Complete all relevant fields of the template for each recipient.
Save your file and visit the same 'UPLOAD RECIPIENTS' page of your account (step 1).
Follow the steps under 'Verify as Trusted Payee' to verify using either an App or email generated code.
Click 'PICK A FILE...' and select your saved recipient template to upload it.
Once processed, you will receive an on-screen notification confirming the number of successful/unsuccessful beneficiary uploads. Press 'OK' to view the details.
Download the file provided - this will contain any unsuccessful recipients, along with the error reason. Example below:

Correct the errors on this document and follow step 5 onwards to re-upload it in the same way.
Once complete, you can make individual payments OR send payments in batch.

Hints and tips

You only need to re-upload the unsuccessful recipients, all others will have been processed successfully.
'Verify as Trusted Payee' - when entering the first 4 digits of the new recipient’s Account Number or IBAN, please use the details of the first recipient in the batch.
The ‘Override’ field of the template can be used to update the details of an existing beneficiary; enter ‘Y’ into the row and the recipient (with the same nickname) will be updated accordingly.

How do I find my nearest compatible ATM?

The Centtrip prepaid card offers the highest cash withdrawal limits on the market, enabling you to withdraw up to £4000 per day from any major ATM.

To find your nearest chip-enabled ATM, we recommend using the Mastercard ATM Locator.

You can access this anytime via the Centtrip app - simply tap the app menu icon to open 'SETTINGS', select 'Atm Locator' and enter your location to search.

Hints and tips

If given the option when withdrawing cash, always select ‘without conversion’ to avoid additional costs.
Where an ATM allows a choice, always withdraw cash in the local currency.

How do I add new users to the account?

Your Corporate Super Administrator (CSA) can instantly add new users to the account within account settings.

Don't yet have a CSA?

Enjoy greater flexibility and control over your Centtrip account by assigning a Corporate Super Administrator. Complete the CSA Set-up Form and return this to help@centtrip.com.

CSAs have the ability to:

Add new users to the account instantly - no PDF forms, no delays.
Set and modify user limits and permissions at any time.
Monitor new user verification and send instant email reminders.
Understand who has access to the account at all times.
Disable user access in a couple of clicks.
All of this can be managed directly within your CSA's account settings.

In the meantime, you can request additional Admin users by completing our standard User Set-up Form.

Question 4

How do UK public holidays affect my Centtrip service?

Accepted Answer

Centtrip will be closed on the following UK bank holiday dates.

You can still access your Centtrip account online and via the app as normal, however, account load, foreign exchange and payments will not be available. If you have any associated deadlines, we recommend making arrangements at least 2 full working days before the public holiday.

For example, if the holiday is on a Friday, it's best to load your account, send payment or purchase currency by the end of Tuesday.

How do I sign in?

Activate your account

If you are new to Centtrip and/or have never signed in before, you'll first need to activate your account and create a password. You can then sign in via your desktop, or the Centtrip app.

Sign in via your desktop

Visit account.centtrip.com
Enter your username and password and click 'SIGN IN' (Forgotten your password?)
Select your preferred verification method:
- EMAIL - check your inbox for your verification code. Not received this?
- MOBILE APP - follow these steps to link your device and/or enter your app generated your app code.
- SMS - enter the verification code which has been sent to your mobile phone. Note - the code will be sent to the number which is registered to the card. Follow these steps if you need to update your number.

Sign in via the Centtrip app

Download the Centtrip iOS or Android app.
Tap 'LOG IN' and sign in with your email address and new password.

What should I do if I've forgotten my password?

You can reset your password instantly via the app or your desktop account

Using your desktop account

Visit account.centtrip.com
Click 'FORGOT PASSWORD?'
Enter your email address and date of birth and select 'NEXT'
You will now be prompted to enter a verification code. If the details you have entered are correct, this will be emailed to you.
Enter and confirm your new password and click 'CHANGE PASSWORD' to save.

If you do not receive your verification code, please contact Client Support.

How do I export card expense statements and reports?

Apply custom fields and filters and export transaction data, with or without cardholder receipts, in a variety of formats to suit your requirements.

Click either 'XLSX' or 'PDF', depending on your preference, and choose an export option (see below for more).
You will receive an email once your report is ready. Visit 'REQUESTED REPORTS' to download it.

How do I switch between my Centtrip cards?

If you have more than one Centtrip card, you can switch between them easily within the Centtrip app.

Sign into the Centtrip iOS or Android app
Tap on 'MY BALANCES' at the bottom of the screen
Check the last four digits of the card to see which is currently active
Select 'SWITCH CARD' to change
Tap on the relevant one
Press 'OK' to confirm

What can I do with the Centtrip app?

Check Balances and Transactions

Open the app to view all your transactions in real-time.
Tap the search icon to filter transactions by currency, missing receipts, labels or type.
Select ‘YOUR BALANCES’ at the bottom of the screen to check balances across all the currencies you hold on your card.

Upload Labels and Receipts

Open the app and tap on a transaction to get started.
Add Labels... - tap to enter your own custom labels. These can be anything that will help you identify or provide more information about the expense.
Select Corporate Label... - add your organisation's pre-set labels to expenses. Start by selecting a Label Group (there may be multiple) to view the associated labels, and simply tap to add one.
Add receipt... - there's no need to hold onto paper receipts or submit manual expense forms. Tap 'Add receipt' to take a quick photo and upload in seconds, as and when you spend.

Instantly lock or unlock your card

Open the Centtrip app and press the menu icon to expand.
Select ‘Lock or Unlock Card’.
Use the slider to instantly lock/unlock the relevant card.

Reveal your PIN

Open the Centtrip app and tap the menu icon to open app 'SETTINGS'
Select ‘Pin’ from the menu
Tap ‘Reveal’ and enter your security details or use Touch ID / Face ID
Your PIN will be shown on screen for 5 seconds
