Question 1

How do I use my virtual EEA card for payments?

Accepted Answer

Virtual EEA cards can be used for online payments and contactless transactions, by adding them to your Apple or Google Pay wallet (this feature is currently unavailable for US cards).

Contactless Transactions:

To make an contactless payment, you simply need to add your virtual EEA Centtrip card to your Apple or Google Pay Wallet.

Sign into the Centtrip app, OR (if you are a new user) follow the steps in your activation email to create a password. Then, tap ‘All Cards’ on the app homepage.
Locate your virtual card within the list, tap to select it, then press to open ‘Card Settings’.
Swipe left on the top part of the screen to view the card.
Tap 'SHOW FULL CARD DETAILS'and verify your identity.

The card details will now be revealed, including the CVV.

Tap the ‘Copy Card Number’ button to copy the number and use for your online purchase.

Please note - virtual cards are currently only available for US or EEA Centtrip account holders.

What are virtual cards and how do I use them?

A virtual card is exactly like a standard Centtrip card, except that it doesn’t exist physically. Instead, it is accessed by cardholders digitally within the Centtrip app, and can be managed by Administrators with their desktop account.

Please note - virtual cards are currently only available for EEA and US Centtrip account holders.

Benefit from:

Instant card creation - no more waiting for physical cards to arrive.
Effortless set-up - virtual cards are automatically activated upon creation.
Contactless spend on EEA cards - add virtual EEA cards to your Apple or Google Pay wallet.
Increased security - eliminate the risk of physical cards becoming lost or stolen.

How do I order virtual cards?

Simply follow the standard card order process, and use the dropdown box to select 'Virtual' as the card type.

Please note that when you select this option, EVERY card in that particular order will be a virtual card. If you wish to also order physical cards, you will need to place a separate order.

Once ordered, the cards will appear in your CARDS dashboard immediately.

New cardholders will receive an email inviting them to create an account password and sign into the app, where they can view and begin using their new card.
Existing cardholders will be able to view the new virtual card in the app, alongside any existing cards they have.

Cards are activated upon creation, so no separate cardholder activation is required.

How are virtual cards used?

For Contactless Transactions:

Where can I find out what my card withdrawal limit is?

Our standard card withdrawal limit is a maximum of up to 3 withdrawals per day, totaling £750.

Please speak to your administrator to request or find out if you have increased limits.

How do I submit my card expense receipts, labels and notes?

Accepted Answer

You can attach photo receipts, labels and transaction notes instantly, as and when you spend via the Centtrip app.

Submit individual expenses within the app -

Before you begin, ensure you have activated your card and signed into the app.

Submit weekly or monthly expenses via your desktop -

Visit account.centtrip.com from your tablet or desktop computer, and sign in with the same details you use to access the app.

Click to expand the filters and select 'without receipts' to view outstanding expenses. Then 'Update'

Work through the list by clicking on an expense to open the details panel. You can then attach a receipt, select corporate labels and add your own labels and notes.

Vist the 'CASH' page from the left-hand menu, then 'Add transaction' to record expenditure using funds from a cash-top up or ATM withdrawal.

Question 6

What is 3D secure?

Accepted Answer

3 Domain Secure (3DS) is a security measure for online payments which provides additional protection against fraud.

The 3 domains (acquirer, scheme, and issuer) interact with each other to exchange information and authenticate the transaction.

3D Secure helps prevent fraud and is available for Card Not Present (CNP) transactions with all major card networks, and is mandatory in the EU, following the Revised Payment Services Directive (PSD2).

Question 7

How can I generate a report of expiring cards?

Note - you will only be able to view cards associated with accounts which you have Administrator access to. Corporate Super Administrators will be able to generate a comprehensive report comprising all Centtrip cards across all accounts.

Sign into your Centtrip account and select Run Reports
Configure the report settings as follows:
- Ensure All Groups and All Accounts are selected
- Enter any date range (e.g. today's date) - this is unimportant for this report.
- Select All Currencies
- Tick the box - Include currencies with zero balance and no movement
- Choose Master Report from the Select Report Type dropdown.
- Then choose any currency as your base currency - again it does not matter for this report.

Click GENERATE REPORT.
You will receive an email when your report is ready. Hover over your name in the top-right, and click Requested Reports to download it.

Once downloaded, open the final tab of the spreadsheet, labelled Data.
This sheet will show all of your Centtrip cards along with their expiry date (month and year). You can apply a filter to the Card Status column to hide any which have already been closed.

What are the courier fees for card orders?

The courier pricing for card delivery is as follows:

GBP: £38.10

You will be invoiced in one of these three currencies (or currency equivalent).

Question 10

What should I do if I notice a fraudulent transaction on my account?

Accepted Answer

If you notice a fraudulent transaction on your account, please take the following steps to block the card and raise a transaction dispute.

Fraudulent Transaction Process:

1. Lock your card(s) immediately to prevent any further transactions.

2. Contact your Administrator to transfer remaining card funds back to your Centtrip account, by choosing 'Card to Account' as the transfer direction.

3. Administrators can also order replacements cards, which should arrive within 14 working days.

4. Complete our Transaction Dispute Form and return this via email, along with the relevant supporting documentation - this will be specified in the claim form.

5. Once we receive your claim, you should receive a response within 45 working days. If successful, a chargeback credit will be applied to your new card.

Please note: only 15 transactions can be disputed at any one time, so we would recommend raising the highest 15. A £10 replacement fee will apply to any re-issued cards.
