Q: What are the different Centtrip EEA user types and permissions?

There are 3 different User Roles with varying degrees of access to certain features (see table below): Corporate Super Administrator (CSA) Corporate Administrator (CA) Corporate Administrator - Read only (RO) CSAs have access to the main corporate account and as all associated Operating Accounts, whereas CAs and ROs will only have access to select account(s).

Can I categorise my transactions?

Yes, you can.

Labels are a simple yet extremely effective new tool on our app that enables you to search your transactions more easily. Simply use available or create new labels online and on the app to categorise your expenses by projects, departments or events and better organise your transactions.

This new feature replaces hashtags and allows you to create as many categories as you need. Add a new category as you make a purchase or search existing labels to mark the transaction to easily identify it when running reconciliation either in real time or later on.

To add or create new label:

Tap on the transaction you want to categorise
Tap on ‘Labels’
Either select from the list of existing labels or create a new one
Tap ‘Done’

Customise existing labels and re-use them for future transactions. Both account administrators and users can create, edit and use the same labels online and on the app.

You can also export labelled transactions from and import them into your accountancy package for reconciliation and reporting purposes.

All labels are included in any transaction reporting.

You can use your Centtrip multi-currency Mastercard to make purchases online, over the phone and in store in more than 210 countries and territories. You can also withdraw cash at over 2.1 million ATMs displaying the Mastercard Acceptance Mark.

Yes. If you'd like to order cards with a different base currency, contact us using the details at the bottom of this page.

Non-GBP base-currency cards are available for corporate clients only.

Why could my foreign exchange (FX) rate change after booking a conversion?

Accepted Answer

All rates that are offered when you request a quote through your Centtrip account are real-time rates based on the live foreign exchange market.

This means that they are subject to change as the market moves and on occasion, the actual rate at which your currency is purchased may be slightly different to the rate that was shown at point of booking your conversion.

This change is reflective of the market at that time and can affect you either positively or negatively.

How do I bookmark a page?

We recommend bookmarking key pages, such as your Centtrip account login or the Account Resources Hub for Marine, Music, Production or Corporate accounts.

This enables you to easily find them anytime.

Go to the webpage you want to bookmark.
Click the star icon on the right side of the address bar.
Name the bookmark.
Select the folder you want the webpage to be saved to.
Click “Done” to bookmark the webpage.

How do I specify whether an administrator has corporate-level or account-level access?

Accepted Answer

During the process of setting up a new Corporate Administrator, you will be prompted to specify the new user's access-type:

Corporate-level access -

The user will be able to view and manage the corporate account, plus all associated Operating Accounts.

To set up, simply select the 'Corporate Access' option.

The user will only have access to view and manage specific Operating accounts.
