Inactive Card Maintenance Fee – effective 16 July 2022, a monthly fee of £2.50 will be charged for any Centtrip cards which have been dormant or unused for 12 months.
Inactive Operating Account Maintenance Fee – effective 16 July 2022, a monthly fee of £20 will be charged for any Centtrip accounts which have been dormant or unused for 12 months.

The Inactivity Fees are applicable to all UK/Eur Corporate and Personal accounts and/or cardholders.

How will I be charged?

The inactivity fees will be debited from the associated account and/or card(s) each month. If the balance reaches zero, the account and/or card will be closed.

How do I stop my account or cards becoming dormant or inactive?

Your account and cards will only become dormant after 12 months with no change in balance. After this point, they will incur a monthly inactivity fee. Simply use your account or card to ensure it does not become dormant.

Where can I review my current Centtrip cards?

If you have multiple Centtrip cards associated with your account, we recommend regularly reviewing these to ensure any which are no longer required are closed.

Follow these steps to export a list of all your current cards.

How do I close an account or card which is no longer required?

Please email Centtrip Support with details of the account or cards you with to close.

When will the 12 months of inactivity start?

The 12 month inactivity period will include any inactivity prior to the effective date (16th July), rather than 12 months from the effective date.

So for example, if your Centtrip card or account has been inactive since 1 Sep 2021, the inactivity fee will be applicable from 1 Sep 2022.

Q: How do I complete my batch recipient upload template?

When completing your 'RecipientUploadTemplate' , each recipient must occupy one row and all relevant fields must be filled accordingly. Information on how and which fields to complete is provided below: Mandatory Fields Which bank account details are required? In the table below, reference the Beneficiary Bank Location and the Payment Currency to determine which two out of the six bank detail fields are required for each recipient. You can leave the other fields blank. Hints and tips If you can't see the country/currency combination you need and aren't sure which bank details you need to provide, visit the main Recipient tab of your account and select the required currency and country - the necessary fields will be displayed there. The ‘Override’ field can be used to update the details of an existing beneficiary; enter ‘Y’ into the row and the recipient (with the same nickname) will be updated accordingly.

Effective 16 June 2022, payments sent from a corporate Centtrip account to a bank account will be subject to our standard Payment Fees. You can view any changes in your Fee Schedule from 16th June onwards.

How will I be charged?

The payment fee will be deducted from your Centtrip account balance. Please ensure you have enough funds in your account to cover your payment and the associated fee.

How do UK public holidays affect my Centtrip service?

Centtrip will be closed on the following UK bank holiday dates.

You can still access your Centtrip account online and via the app as normal, however, account load, foreign exchange and payments will not be available. If you have any associated deadlines, we recommend making arrangements at least 2 full working days before the public holiday.

For example, if the holiday is on a Friday, it's best to load your account, send payment or purchase currency by the end of Tuesday.

How can I export a list of my current Centtrip cards to review?

Sign into your account and scroll down to the 'CARD BALANCES' section at the bottom of your dashboard.
Cick the person icon at the top (next to FIRST NAME) to instantly select all cards.
Click the 'EXPORT XLS' button
Enter a date range. To include all cards, we recommend entering the date the account was opened to present day.
Then EXPORT EXCEL. Your report will download automatically to your browser.
The 'Summary' tab will show all the cards issued within your date range, along with their Cardholder ID and current balances. You can delve into expenditure for each card by switching between the other tabs.

How can I check my account fees?

Your fees are available in your account and can be viewed by following the steps below.

Sign into your Centtrip account via your desktop.
Hover your curser over the person icon, to the left of your name.
Select 'Fee Schedule' from the dropdown menu.
If you have multiple Operating Accounts, switch between them to view the fees in the same way for each one.

How do I enable Corporate Labels in the app?

Streamline your reconciliation by enabling Corporate Labels in the app. This allows cardholders to attach your pre-set labels to expenses in just a tap. All labels are linked to accounting codes (which the cardholder won't see), making it easy to map expenditure to your own accounting practices, with less manual work and fewer errors.

To begin, sign into your Centtrip account and click Manage Expenses from the Navigation bar.
Click to open 'CORPORATE LABELS' and identify the Label Group(s) you want to add to the app.
Use the 'SHOW IN APP' toggle to switch this Group on (you can switch it off again at any time).
Cardholders will now be able to add your pre-set Corporate Labels to expenses via the app.

How do I add labels and receipts to my transactions?

Sign into the app and tap on a transaction to view more details and get started.
'Add Labels...' - Tap to enter your own custom labels. These can be anything that will help you identify or provide more information about the expense.
'Select Corporate Label...' - Add your organisation's pre-set labels to expenses. Start by selecting a Label Group (there may be multiple) to view the associated labels, and simply tap to add one. For example, your company may have created a Label Group for 'Expense Type' and 'Department' - from the first group, you might select 'Travel' for a plane ticket expense, and then 'Sales' as your department. Corporate Labels are custom to your organisation.
'Add receipt...' - There's no need to hold onto paper receipts or submit manual expense forms. Tap 'Add receipt' to take a quick photo and upload in seconds, as and when you spend.

Can't see Corporate Labels? Your organisation may need to set up their Corporate Labels, or enable them in the app.

Am I authorised to open a Centtrip account on behalf of a business?

Accepted Answer

To be authorised to open a Centtrip account, you must be a director, beneficial owner or authorised signatory of the business you are applying on behalf of.

If you do not fall into any of these categories, you will need to complete our Account Application Authorisation Form and have this signed by a director, beneficial owner or authorised signatory.

Please be sure to upload this form during the online application process.

How do I transfer Multi-factor Authentication to a new device?

If you have the old device linked to your Centtrip account

Follow the steps below to transfer Multi-factor Authentication to the new device.

On your new device:

Log in to the Centtrip mobile app.
When prompted to choose a verification method, select MOBILE APP.

On your old device:

Open the Centtrip moblie app using your passcode or fingerprint (you may need to login with your email and password)
Select MULTI-FACTOR AUTHENTICATION
Select 'Identify' to view your security code.
enter this into the field on your new device.
