What can I do to keep my Centtrip card secure?

Centtrip are committed to keeping your money safe. As a reminder, PLEASE NEVER SHARE SENSITIVE INFORMATION OR SECURITY CODES, VIA ANY MEANS.

CENTTRIP WILL NEVER ASK YOU TO -

Share personal, account or card details, whether by phone, email, SMS, chat, or by entering information into your phone.
Provide full or partial digits from your 16 digit Centtrip card number, or ask you to enter this anywhere. Your full card number is only used for purchases - never give this number to ANYONE in any circumstances, other than when making a purchase yourself.
Provide (or key-in) Centtrip security or verification codes sent to you by email, SMS or generated in the app.
Transfer money to another account which is not in your name.

Please be vigilant - scammers are continually seeking new ways to attempt to ellicit sensitive information from you.

Question 2

Do I have the relevant permissions to make an FX batch payment?

Accepted Answer

Centtrip's FX Batch Payments feature enables you to make hundred of multi-currency payments effortlessly, even those involving currency conversions.

If you cannot access the 'Buy Currency' tab or do not see the 'CREATE BATCH' button (see below), it means you may not have the required permissions to make FX batch payments.

Your FX batch payment limits and permissions are the same as for individual payments.

For example, if you require 2 approvals to make a payment, and your individual FX payment limit is GBP 10,000, this will also apply when making an FX batch payment.

Where can I find out more about Centtrip's bank detail changes on 19th January 2024?

Accepted Answer

As part of changes to ensure Centtrip complies with all its regulatory obligations, our payment details will be updated on Friday 19th January 2023.

What do I need to do?

From 19th January 2024, please ensure you use our updated payment details whenever you load your account. This change will also affect FX conversions which you have chosen to settle by bank transfer.

Please remember to update any pre-existing details you may already have saved in your corporate bank account.

Where can I find the updated details?

Our updated details will be available in your account from 19th January. Please sign in, visit Load Account, and select a currency to view these securely.

To settle an FX conversion, please refer to your on-screen and email confirmation.

What happens if I use the old details in error?

Payments made using our pre-19th January details will be rejected and returned to your corporate bank account. You will need to make the transfer again using the new details. It may take several days for the funds to be returned to you, depending on your bank, currency and the date/time of the payment.

Which currencies does this affect?

These changes apply to payments made in ALL currencies. Please ensure you use the updated details.

What if I receive a warning message from my bank?

Banks may show a warning when you make a payment to the new account for the first time due to fraud prevention tools and processes. Please double-check that the details you've entered match those provided in the Centtrip platform exactly before confirming the payment.

How can I generate a report of expiring cards?

Accepted Answer

Note - you will only be able to view cards associated with accounts which you have Administrator access to. Corporate Super Administrators will be able to generate a comprehensive report comprising all Centtrip cards across all accounts.

Sign into your Centtrip account and select Run Reports
Configure the report settings as follows:
- Ensure All Groups and All Accounts are selected
- Enter any date range (e.g. today's date) - this is unimportant for this report.
- Select All Currencies
- Tick the box - Include currencies with zero balance and no movement
- Choose Master Report from the Select Report Type dropdown.
- Then choose any currency as your base currency - again it does not matter for this report.

Click GENERATE REPORT.
You will receive an email when your report is ready. Hover over your name in the top-right, and click Requested Reports to download it.

Once downloaded, open the final tab of the spreadsheet, labelled Data.
This sheet will show all of your Centtrip cards along with their expiry date (month and year). You can apply a filter to the Card Status column to hide any which have already been closed.

How can I check my card billing address for online transactions?

Your Centtrip card can be used for online transactions too - you simply need to ensure you enter the correct billing address during the checkout process.

To review your billing address, sign into the Centtrip app, tap on the menu icon as shown below, and select 'Your Details'.

How can I apply to open a Centtrip account?

Sign in or REGISTER to create an account.
Click the 'New Application' button in the top-right.
Complete the required fields and upload any acceptable supporting documentation.
Your progress can be saved to continue later if needed. Submit your application when ready.
Once submitted, your application will be reviewed and we will be in contact regarding the status, or if any additional information is required.
If/when approved, the first user created will be a Corporate Super Administrator (CSA). The CSA can then add and manage users on the account.

How do I attach my expense receipts and labels in the app?

You can submit all required expense information instantly and effortlessly via the Centtrip app.

Visit the 'View Transactions' screen -

1) Show expenses with missing receipts

Filter on transactions which have outstanding receipts and labels - expenses will disappear from this list instantly once you upload the receipt.

Tap on the search icon on the Transactions screen.
Select 'Receipts'.
Select ‘Transactions without receipts’ and press ‘DONE’.

2) Attach photo receipts

Tap on a transaction to submit a photo receipt effortlessly, as and when you spend - there's no need to hold onto stacks of paper receipts to be scanned manually, or to submit lengthy expense forms.

3) Select Corporate Labels

Corporate Labels are custom to your organisation and are linked to relevant accounting codes - simply select the appropriate label from the pre-set list(s).

Where can I find information on the Centtrip services which are temporarily unavailable from 31st December 2023?

Accepted Answer

Due to changes we are implementing to ensure that Centtrip complies with all its regulatory obligations, our card ordering and account creation services will be temporarily unavailable from 31st December 2023. During this period you will be unable to order any new or replacement cards, or open additional accounts.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and will be working diligently to ensure these services resume on 19th January 2024.

What do you need to do?

To avoid any disruption to your service, please make arrangements for any upcoming requirements at your earliest convenience, and no later than 31st December:

Please Note - We always recommend ordering spare cards, in case a card is lost or stolen and needs to be replaced urgently. You can order and reassign them to users instantly when needed.

Can I access more than one account from the Centtrip app?

Follow these steps to access more than one account from the Centtrip app:

Log in to the app (version 1.10.0 or later).
Select Switch Account.
Select LINK ACCOUNT and follow the prompts.

Hints & Tips

Easily swap between accounts by selecting Switch Account from Centtrip app. The account you're currently logged into will show a filled circle icon.
When using multi-factor authentication to log in to your desktop account, be sure to select the correct account in the Centtrip app before using the code.
