Where can I find the password required to authenticate my online transaction?

When using your Centtrip card to make an online transaction, you may be prompted to verify using a 3D Secure Password or using your device's Passkey.This is to provide additional security to your account.

View Your 3D Secure Password in the app

  1. Tap SHOW ECOMMERCE PASSWORD from the app homepage
  2. Press SHOW PASSPHRASE to display your password for online transactions.
  3. Click the icon to copy or type this password into the checkout page where prompted.
 
 

Verify using Face or Fingerprint ID (Passkey)

Once you have authorised a transaction using your 3D secure password, you will be prompted to set up Passkey for the device you are using (see notes below). 

This enables you to use Face or Fingerprint ID to authorise online transactions - removing the need to enter your password manually each time.

1. When prompted, click Create passkey.

 


 

2. Authorise using Face / Fingerprint ID as prompted - this will vary by device
 


 

3. That's it! Next time you make an online transaction using, tap Authenticate with Passkey.
 

 

Important Things To Note

  • Passkeys are device-specific. They are linked to the device you're using, not your Centtrip card.
  • If you set up a passkey on your phone, you'll still need to verify yourself separately if you make a purchase on another device, such as your laptop or desktop computer.
  • Passkey Methods by device:
    • iPhone/iPad: Face ID (or Touch ID on supported devices)
    • Android: Usually Fingerprint (or your device's biometric method)
    • Mac: Touch ID (Fingerprint)
    • Windows PC: Windows Hello (typically facial recognition or fingerprint)
